The Ashram is established by Sri Samartha Narayana Maharaj, descendent
of Sri Samartha Ramdas (guru of Sivaji). Followers of Samartha Sampradaya visit
this place regularly.
The Ashram houses Kesari Hanuman,
Sri Rama Panchayatanam, Saligrama Siva temple, unique World's only Kamadhenu
Gowmata temple apart from Sri Hari Hara temple. The Ashram has a life-like
vigraha pratishta of Sri Samartha Narayana Maharaj who attained Jeeva Samadhi
at Harihar, Karnataka after performing Ashwamedha Yaga.
The Ashram currently has Sri
Samartha Kamadhenu Goshala for more than 4500 cows..
